With ethnic prints, animal motifs, bright colors and trend-setting desi styles and drapes – Krishna Mehta’s new ethnic collection that was displayed at the Lakme Fashion Week’s winter festive of 2015 was every bit dreamy. More so, for us ethnic-wear loving folk who’d like to find experimental and trendy ways of wearing traditional weaves.
Dhoti pants made out of bright silks of colours like orange, red and blue were the show stealers. Looks like dhoti pants have a big future ahead of them!
Long and flowy anarkalis in bright hues and shades managed to stun the crowds as well.
Lace and silk jackets were a part of the collection. These jackets make such an elegant, ethnic statement that we wouldn’t be surprised if they’re going to be all over the red-carpet very soon!
Bright red Banarasi sarees with gorgeous work and beautiful motifs all over them were also a part of the collection.
Lengthy, glittery flowy skirts and gorgeous dupattas and shawls made for most of the collection.
Full of colour and life, Krishna Mehta’s collection is a winner all the way!
