Actress Vidya Balan is a fan of sarees and has been our biggest inspiration when it comes to carrying traditional looks with style. On the occasion of Diwali, Vidya decided to become a traditional Malayali woman as she sat beside a lamp in a lime green Kanchipuram silk saree.

Like most silk drapes, this one too had a plain body with a zari shine to it. But things were a little interesting when it comes to its red borders drenched in gold solid zari. The pallu also takes after the border and is zari worked. She decides to pair it up with a red half-sleeve blouse also displaying a gold hem.
Her choice of jewels includes a pair of gold earrings, a traditional necklace with pearls and some glass bangles. A gajra-adorned bun with kohl-rimmed eyes, a bindi and nude lips elevates her look.
