Actress Shilpa Reddy is known for recreating a number of traditional saree looks. Her Navratri series launched last year was a hit among everyone on the net and even had requests for a second version this year. Though she didn’t oblige to that, she did a vintage look on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. She is seen wearing a pink silk saree by Aakrithi handlooms.

Being a handwoven Kanchipuram, the saree is made of multi warped heddle shaft. Its borders however worked in silver and depict kadhi techniques on its purple hemlines. It is paired with a close-neck purple enhanced by gold zar buttas.
She opted for some heavy accessories that included a pair of pearl and stone studded antique gold earrings, a matching neckpiece, a maangtika and bangles by Krsala Jewellery. A gajra-adorned bun with minimal makeup and nude lips elevated the look
