After a long hiatus actress, Amala Akkineni would be making a grand comeback to the silver screen with “Kanam.” Starring Sharwanand and Ritu Varma, the movie is based on time travel and the emotional mother-son bond. The movie will also be released in Telugu. Last day composer Anirudh launched its Tamil trailer at a grand event. For the occasion, Ritu resorted to a mint green saree.

The sheer saree is spread with intricate stones and buttas all over. However, this doesn’t make it look gaudy in any way. Its border on the other hand is embroidered in pintucks and worked with silver stones. She paired it with a sleeveless blouse featuring embroidery in the tone-on-tone thread.
Her jewel choices included no neckpiece but a pair of pearl studded oxidized pearl earrings and a ring. Loose wavy hair with winged eyes and red lips completed the look.
