Actress Deepika Padukone has made our country proud yet again by being selected as a jury member at the Cannes film festival’22. For the first day, she wore a striped saree by Sabyasachi from their Aakash Tara collections. While we are yet to see the others, this one sure looks good.

The saree is gold-black, drawing its inspiration from the Bengal Tiger. Moreover, the stripes are hand-blocked with intricate sequin hand embroidery. It is paired with an off shouldered sequinned black corset.
Her jewels included a pair of handcrafted antique gold earrings, a set of earrings and a shesh Patti from Sabyasachi Jewelry. This is from their Bengal Royale collections. We also loved her shoes in black from Sabyasachi x Louboutin world. A retro-styled hair with dramatic eye makeup, blushed cheeks and nude lips elevated her look.
