Actress Alia Bhatt has blessed us with her mehndi pictures. While we all baiting our breath for those, it seems it is worth all the hype. For the event, she chose to wear a pink lehenga set by Manish Malhotra. Expressing her joy the actress wrote, “The Mehendi was like something out of a dream. It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organised by Mr Kapoor (my favourite artist performed my favourite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with the love of my life. There are days… and then there are days like these!”

The lehenga is patchworked with almost 180 threads and weaves. Moreover, it is adorned with Kashmiri and chikankari florets all over. The sleeveless blouse on the other hand is embellished with real silver -gold nakshi florets as well as vintage gold sequins.
Her jewel pieces included an uncut diamond neckpiece and a maangtika by Dedhia Jewellers. Minimal makeup and a simple hairdo complimented her look.
