Sequin sarees have become synonymous with evening soirees. Our celebrities have played a major role in popularizing them. While a number of designers have been creating sequinned drapes, ace-designer Manish Malhotra is certainly the champion. The latest damsel to be seen wearing a sequin saree is actress Shilpa Shetty. She wore a maroon number and has looked never better!

As it’s obvious, the saree is embellished with self-coloured sequins all over its body and pallu. Moreover, the chiffon saree has itself paired with a matching sleeveless blouse matching the details of the saree. Lastly, there’s also an attached sequined cape with a long train that added to its grandeur.
Her stone-studded diamond earrings were from Jet Gems while the set of rings belonged to Karishma Joolry. Blow-dried hair with contoured cheeks, smokey eyes and matching lips complemented the look.
