Blues are just good a colour that no matter how bright or how light the shade is, we tend to love them anyway. While the brighter shades often tend to dominate festivals and other functions, lighter shades are also not bad. Leading by example is actress Shraddha Das who has an eye for unconventional choices. For Dhanteras this year, the actress wore a Celeste blue silk saree by Mint N’ Oranges and we think it’s just everything we had imagined it to be.

The light-hued saree is adorned with elephant motifs in gold and silver all over it. Moreover, this is followed by lion motifs on its hemline and trim. She paired this one with a contrast yellow blouse worked with gold sequins and thread work depicting floral motifs.
Her accessories included a pair of stone-studded earrings, a choker and a set of bangles by Anayah Jewellery. Gajra clad bun with a bindi, smokey eyes and pink lips complemented the look.
