No matter which part of India you belong to, you can never resist the charms of a pattu saree. Especially if it is a kanjeevaram saree. Proving this fact true, actress Renu Desai who is an ardent lover of these beauties decided to celebrate the handloom day in a sky blue saree by Bhargavi Kunam.
The cool-toned saree is contrasted with a classy black-hued pattu border. The black background is etched with intricate jasmine motifs in gold and is displayed on its border and pallu. She paired the saree with a black blouse embellished with gold jaals made of beads and handiwork.
Her jewellery included a traditional gold Kash maala, a set of matching stone studded jhumkas and a set of gold bangles and a ring by Vasundhara Diamond Roof. A flower-clad twisted low tied bun with blushed cheeks, winged eyes, bindi and pink lipstick completed the ethnic look.
