They say daughters are a spitting image of their mothers. Mostly when they wear saree and especially when they are in their wedding attires. Niharika Konindela has proved this to be true. For the second day ceremony of her Pellikuturu function, Niharika chose to wear her mother Padmaja Konidela’s saree that she had worn 32 years ago. The bride-to-be looks exactly like her mother and prettier if we daresay!
She wore her mom’s cobalt blue pattu saree paired with a navy blue embroidered blouse by Sinch.
So the saree had a long navy blue and golden border and trim that extended towards its pallu. While her mother’s blouse was matching the saree, Niharika’s matched the borders and had golden prints on it. It had golden piping across its neckline with an elbow length sleeve. The back of the blouse was, however, tied with tassels.
Niharika accessorized herself with a traditional gold guttapusalu haram with rubies-rice pearls-diamonds, a pair of matching earrings, an antique kamarbandh, maangtika and a nose ring. she filled her hands with bangles matching her attire.
With full-on bridal makeup, pink lipstick and jasmine adorned fishtailed hair, Niharika completed her look.
