While Indians everywhere celebrated Karwa Chauth with their families, actress Raveena Tandon had a different story to tell. The actress shared on social media how she is celebrating the occasion alone for the first time in 16 years. Raveena is in Dalhousie whereas her family is in Mumbai.
Nevertheless, Raveena decided to dress up for the occasion. She chose a red kurta-Sharara set for the festival.
Designed by Gopi Vaid, the cotton silk kurta was adorned with golden zari work all over it. With a broad golden hem and embroidered full sleeves, the knee-length kurta found its perfect partner in the sharara which was also covered in golden zari work along its scalloped borders.
The beautiful scallop-edged net dupatta had stonework in floral patterns on it which made the actress look no less than a bride. Tandon carefully accessorized herself with golden jhumkas and maangtika.
In a matte makeup, kohled eyes, bindi and red lipstick the actress seemed like she hasn’t aged a day. Her hair was side-parted and neatly tied in a bun decorated with red flowers.
