The Blouse or choli of the lehenga is as much as important as lehenga and hence there should be no loopholes in your wedding lehenga blouse. During the close up wedding photo shoots, your wedding blouse will be focused the most and thus you need to take care of every minute details while getting it stitched. Here we are suggesting you 6 things to know before getting your wedding blouse stitched.
Keep Wedding Blouse Simple if the Lehenga is Heavy
Either you go for a heavy work blouse designs with a light work lehenga or keep the blouse simple and choose the heavy lehenga. Avoid heavy work on both wedding blouse and lehenga as it will look OTT. But since the lehenga part covers the maximum part of your body and is more visible you can’t go light on lehenga and hence always go for a simple blouse pattern.
Accurate Measurements
Make sure that the blouse measurements are perfect, especially the bust measurement. Once your lehenga blouse is ready, wear it with the same bra that you are planning to wear on your Big Day and then check the measurements.
Perfect Stitched Sleeves
The wedding blouse sleeves are important and thus you have to get it right. Remember to choose your sleeves wisely, avoid having too much of work on the sleeves as it will make your arms look heavy. Ask your tailor to stitch a cape sleeves blouse if you have toned arms but if you have a bit of fat on your arms then better go for ¾th length sleeves, elbow length sleeves or full sleeves.
Good Quality Lining is Important
The inside lining is as much important as the outside look of the blouse. Hence, make sure to ask your tailor to use a good quality blouse lining that is comfortable to wear. You can’t take risk with the quality and comfort of the lining just because it’s not going to be visible. Understand that you need to perform various ceremonies in the wedding and everything that you wear should be very comfortable.
Blouses for Different Body Types
A single blouse pattern cannot look good on all the body types. Like say, you saw a high neck collar blouse on a tall bride and you really like the design and you thought you will get the same blouse design stitched for yourself. But if you are of short height or have a broad and short neck then the same blouse pattern won’t look great on you. So, its important that you first understand your body type and then do for different blouse designs.
