The Mumbai Film Festival 2015 was a big bash. Bollywood celebrities dressed at their stylish best and rocked the red carpet with confidence and class. Out of all the celebrities we spotted, there were a few of them who flaunted lovely jute, chanderis and hand loom sarees. Here we show you some of the celebrities we loved in elegant and classy sarees.
1.Vidya Balan
The sensational Vidya Balan flaunted a dual shaded jute handloom saree at the event. She carried off her ethnic look so elegantly with her hair let down and minimal antique jewellery. We absolutely love how well this versatile saree complimented her complexion. Always finish off your hand woven saree with statement neck pieces for the WOW factor.
2. Kalki Koechlin
Kalki donned a powder blue saree with antique silver border. The color looked so fresh and the high neck blouse looked so significant on her. She added some jazz with a statement tassel choker and a boho style hair-do rounded off her look. Â We simply love it when this French beauty dolls herself in a saree.
3.Kiran Rao
A cream saree with a high boat neck blouse defined sophistication for Kiran Rao at the Mumbai Film Festival. She always adds on those spectacles for the nerdy look. Soft red lips rounded off her look. Sometimes it’s good not to add a contrasting color to your outfit to let the focus remain on it.
4. Nandita Das
A white hand woven saree with gray border and a black blouse seemed to be a perfect combination for Nandita Das. She enhanced her ethnic look with silver jhumkis and a statement potli bag. We simply love this traditional look.
5. Sandhya Mridhul
Sandhya Mridhul managed to grab eyeballs in this gorgeous hand woven saree by Raw Mango. She contrasted her look with a pop of red on her make-up and accessories which projected a very confident vibe. A bob hair do enhanced the confident look.
6. Tisca Chopra
Tisca Chopra rocked a checkered saree at the event. A statement clutch and a coiled neck piece was her choice. The bold curled hair-do did help her to stand out from the crowd.
Handwoven Sarees, chanderis silks, jute cotton are India’s beauty and pride. They always make you look beautiful and you can never dress up or down in a handloom saree. Don’t hesitate to flaunt them with class and confidence. We love how these B-town ladies have rocked the handloom in style!!
