Finally the most eligible bachelor of the Indian Cricket team got hitched with his long time girlfriend, Hazel Keech on 30th November 2016. He got married in a very simple way as per the Sikh rituals in a Gurudwara near Chandigarh, Punjab. Hazel Keech changed her name and converted it to Gurubasant Kaur as a part of the Sikh wedding ceremony. Here are the highlights of Yuvraj Singh Wedding:

Everyone was waiting for Yuvraj Singh wedding since the time the engagement pictures of Yuvraj and Hazel Keech were circulated. They got engaged in Bali, Indonesia last year in November where they were enjoying their vacation. Although Yuvraj Singh and Hazeel Keech’s Gurdwara wedding was quite simple and was attended by only close family members and relatives but they will also soon have a wedding as per Hindu rituals which will take place in Goa. In the Gurudwara wedding, Yuvraj Singh was looking like a perfect Sikh groom dressed up in a maroon shade sherwani designed by JJ Valaya and a matching color turban on the head. Hazel was also dressed up as a perfect Indian bride in a deep maroon lehenga, again which was designed by JJ Valaya and heavy bridal jewelry. The bride’s parents were also all dressed up in ethnic wears, her father choose to wear a turquoise kurta with white churidars and peach turban. Her mother on the other hand wore a simple salwar kameez.

The sangeet ceremony took place just a day before the Gurudwara wedding. Yuvraj picked a JJ valaya black achkan and churidar whereas the bride Hazel Keech was dressed up in a JJ Valaya heavy embroidered black and white anarkali dress. They both complimented each other well as they came walking hand in hand to their cocktail party in their matching outfits. Hazel Keech looked lovely with matha patti on her head and matching earrings. The entire Indian cricket team was present during the sangeet ceremony.

Same day of sangeet, the Mehendi ceremony also took place. Hazel looked like a perfect Indian bride in an yellow anarkali suit. Yuvraj Singh on the other hand donned a plain white kurta with a blue pullover.

Yuvraj and Hazel are going to have a Beach Wedding as per the hindu rituals in Goa on 2nd of December 2016. Their Goa wedding invitation card is really very cool. Let’s wait for the wedding to see what they are going to wear and who are invited in the wedding.

After the beach wedding, a second sangeet function will take place in New Delhi on 5th December 2016. Then on 7th Dec 2016 there will be a grand Reception in New Delhi where all the big Bollywood stars will be invited, if the reports are to be believed then even Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi can also attend the Grand Reception of Yuvraj Singh’s wedding.
